Calabrian Baked Potatoes recipe
Baked potatoes are a typical American food, now widespread in many countries!
Cooked in the oven, the baked potatoes, become tasty chests in which add the most delicious ingredients that you prefer. We offer the recipe with the typical ingredients of Calabria: fresh provola cheese, red bacon roasted and porcini mushrooms patè.
Of course, the main ingredient are the Potatoes from Sila PGI.
The ingredients to prepare Calabrian Baked Potatoes
- 8 Potatoes from Sila PGI
- 100g of local red pancetta
- 100g of fresh Provola cheese
- 180g of Porcini mushrooms patè
How to prepare Calabrian Baked Potatoes
To prepare the baked potatoes, start by washing the potatoes from Sila PGI and start to wrap the potatoes in tinfoil and put in the oven, for about 1 hour and a half.
After that, make a central and vertical cut, not very deeply, to fill with the chosen ingredients: the local red pancetta tesa, first passed in the pan, the fresh provola cheese and the porcini mushroom patè.
To make everything tastier, add the salt flavored with chili or, for spicy lovers, a good dose of 'Nduja of Spilinga.
Bake for 5 minutes and enjoy the Calabrian Baked Potatoes.
