Chicken breast orange and almonds

Chicken breast with orange and almonds is a delicious second course that is quick and easy to prepare. A colourful recipe, full of flavour, ideal for an impromptu dinner party or to impress your guests. It's impossible not to make a “scarpetta”.

Ingredients of Orange chicken breast with almonds

  • 500g chicken breast (Serves 4) 

  • 50g peeled and chopped almonds

  • 1 garlic clove
  • 4 oranges
  • Flour to taste
  • Extra virgin olive oil to taste

  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to prepare chicken breast with orange and almonds

Place the flour in a bowl and flour the chicken slices on all sides.

In a large frying pan, add the extra virgin olive oil and a clove of garlic. We fry it just enough, then we gently arrange our chicken breast slices.

Fry them on both sides, then add the almonds and toast them together with the chicken. Season with salt and black pepper.

In the meantime we extract the juice from oranges and when the chicken is well cooked, we sprinkle it with the juice. Let the chicken cook until it is creamy.

Serve our chicken breast with orange and almonds, arranging on the meat a few spoonfuls of sauce left on the bottom of the pan.
