The recipe for liver with red onion
We slice the Tropea red onion into thin rings, while we heat the oil in a nonstick pan, then stew the onion slices seasoning with a pinch of salt and apple cider vinegar.
We lift the onions from the pan and set them aside. Let's lightly flour the liver slices, then place them in the onion cooking juices, cooking them over a low flame. When almost cooked, we add the onions, adjust the salt, then serve with a few lemon slices.
