Pan-fried hake with lemon
A very tasty fish dish that is really easy to prepare, a recipe suitable for all kinds of occasions, from a family lunch/dinner to slightly more demanding events. The hake, with its lean and delicate flesh, is considered a prized and highly digestible fish, caught all year round and practically always available in local markets.
This fish, in many ways similar to cod, is often used in low-calorie diets, and the protein it contains is of high biological value, as are the quantities of Omega 3 essential fatty acids it contains.

Make pan-fried hake with lemon
We sauté the garlic in a frying pan drizzled with a splash of extra virgin olive oil. Meanwhile we quickly rinse our hake fillets under cold running water.
Coat the fish in flour, then place it in the frying pan, seasoning with salt and pepper.
While cooking, we add the juice of a lemon, and if desired, freshly chopped parsley. Let the hake brown on both sides until golden brown.
Serve the hake with a few lemon slices, sprinkle the fish with the remaining pan juices and add a drizzle of lemon EVO oil.
