Verbicaro Viti e Vini

In Verbicaro, on the Riviera dei cedri hills, caressed by the scent of the sea, a wine with an important history is born. The wine of Verbicaro is already famous in the times of the Greeks and Romans and it is praised by Pliny and Strabo. The fame of its goodness even reached Pope Paul III, who became an amateur thanks to his bottler Sante Lancerio.

The wine of Verbicaro obtained the 'DOC' denomination of controlled origin in 1995. Not even three years later Verbicaro Viti e Vini S.r.l. was established to promote, enhance and market Verbicaro Doc wine.

The winery is organized by optimizing the most advanced techniques and technologies to achieve the highest quality products, without ever neglecting the traditions, history and culture of the Verbicaro territories.
